The government has made Arif Ahmad Khan as new Secretary Finance on the retirement of Shahid Mehmood. A notification to this effect issued by the Cabinet Division stated that Arif Ahmed Khan, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as Secretary, Economic Affairs Division, is transferred and posted as Secretary, Finance Division, with immediate effect and until further orders.
